Travis Proctor, founder and CEO of high-tech company ArtemisIT is a finalist for Citizen of the Year honors in FLORIDA TODAY’s 2019 Volunteer Recognition Awards. Proctor is a strong and reliable voice for the Space Coast community on many fronts.
Proctor sits on the board of trustees for Florida Tech; the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast; Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce; Brevard Symphony Orchestra; Brevard Achievement Center; and Junior Achievement of the Space Coast.
Among countless other efforts, he supports the arts, local veterans and United Way. Leads the Golden Eagle event for the Boy Scouts, mentors and encourages the entrepreneurial spirit in others.
