Network Administrator

Artemis provides businesses with the opportunity to capitalize on the advantages of a well-engineered information system by affording its clients with access to all the resources of a fully staffed technology support department on an as needed basis.

The Network & Systems Administrator will work in a team of highly skilled IT professionals and provide day to day support to customers in an efficiently structured, fast paced environment. The primary responsibilities will be in the area of level 2 desktop, systems and network support, and to serve as point of escalation of other technicians within the Service Desk framework. Technician will manage workflow and user communication for assigned tickets based on current process throughout duration of ticket lifecycle with general supervision by Service Desk Manager and department head.

Additional duties may include maintenance on datacenter and back office infrastructure, remote management & monitoring software maintenance and build out, and/or serving as primary contact for accounts to provide technical leadership.

Outstanding passion and attitude to providing GREAT customer service is a requirement. Depending on the nature of the customer and the project, position may be working independently or as member of an engineering team and/or support staff.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Two (2) years minimum experience in IT/technology industry preferred
  • Microsoft and/or other Industry Certifications a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 (incl. AD, GPO, etc)
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 a plus
  • Microsoft Terminal Server a plus
  • Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 and MS Office
  • Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMWare a plus
  • Firewall and networking experience (Cisco, SonicWall, etc. a plus)
  • RMM software experience
