Founded in 1967, Florida Eye Associates (FEA) has grown with our community. Today FEA has five offices, four optical labs, and an ambulatory surgery center. Ten ophthalmologists, three optometrists, and 160 staff provide the full spectrum of eye care services including comprehensive eye exams, cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma and retina treatment, eye plastic surgery, the treatment of corneal disease, and pediatric ophthalmology. FEA’s commitment to providing quality eye care has remained strong through 50+ years of service.
A dozen years ago, FEA found itself in a dilemma — the on-site IT support resource was suddenly unavailable. The company needed someone that could assume management of the IT infrastructure in a hurry. Artemis stepped in and, within a short period of time, assumed control of the infrastructure. FEA invested in a redundant SMARTteam approach to mitigate the risks associated with having domain knowledge kept by one, or even a few, individuals.
Today, Artemis provides comprehensive IT support and management services, including monitoring and management of critical network infrastructure, end user service desk, cybersecurity and compliance services and computer room environmental monitoring. Projects include network upgrade design and implementation, migration from on premise Exchange to Office 365 and a Managed Disaster Recovery Solution.
